Whether you’ve experienced loss personally or simply wish to stand in support, we invite families, friends, and community members alike.
Wave of Light is a global candle lighting tribute observed annually on October 15, also known as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. At 7:00 PM local time, people around the world light candles and keep them burning for at least one hour, forming a luminous “wave” that spans across time zones.
It’s a moment of collective remembrance and healing—a way to honor the babies lost too soon and to share love and solidarity with those who continue to grieve.
The Wave of Light transcends grief—it connects individuals through a shared moment of remembrance and community. “Lighting a candle at 7 PM local time… creates a continuous chain of light spanning the earth,” giving visual form to collective love and memory.
